Honda Recalls Thousands of Jazz, Freed and the City - Car News - Honda manufacturer has recalled 3 types of its prime products. They are Honda Jazz, Freed, and the City. What was the causes these three popular vehicles being withdrawn?
In a press release Indonesia Honda main distributor, PT Honda Prospect Motor, on Friday (02/18/2011) stated that there was a problem with their engines.
Lost Motion Spring component, which serves pressing rocker arm (driving arm) at low rpm, after a certain period of time can be bent and broken, causing abnormal engine sounds.
Honda said that the worst possibility is potentially causing the engine broke down.
President Director PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), Yukihiro Aoshima, stated on Friday (18/02/2011) that it is their responsibility to ensure that all their products are in the highest standards in terms of safety and quality, even when the product has been in the hands of consumers for years.
