2011 Acura MDX | Specifications and Features | Car Review | The MDX is Acura' luxury crossover SUV with seating for seven people. Acura was one of the first luxury brand to offer an import SUV in 1996, with the SLX, which was a rebadged Isuzu Trooper. MDX concept vehicle was unveiled at the 2000 North American International Auto Show and the production version was started a few months later at the Auto Show New York 2000. For 2007, MDX has been redesigned with a sportier look, a longer body and wider, a longer wheelbase and lower ride height. Acura's flagship SUV has been on the world famous Nürburgring circuit in Germany and is the sixth Acura project to be designed and developed in the U.S.
